He has studied in Malaga, Parma and New York and holds the renowned Master’s Degree in Fiction Screenwriting for Cinema and Television from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. In the field of filmmaking, he has developed his own projects that have won numerous awards and selections in the official sections of different festivals, including the documentary 15M: Málaga Despierta (2013) and the short films Clóset (2014), which won a Biznaga de Plata, the audience award at the Malaga Film Festival and more than 50 official sections. He later co-directed Hospital Cromático (2015) alongside Dita Segura. Last year he co-directed the short film Una noche en el Endeavour with Dita Segura, and directed the production of Gazpachuelo by Biktor Kero, both produced by Objetivo 50 Films and supported by the Malaga Film Festival Creation Grant. He also co-directed the short film Hotel Royal Co, alongside Paula Villegas, which has a fashion film feel and a feminist approach and was selected for the Official Section of the Malaga Film Festival.
He is currently involved in the pre-production stage of the short film Black Bass, which obtained the 2017 Audiovisual Creation Grant at the Malaga Film Festival and will be mentored by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, screenwriter and director of the feature films Stockholm and Que Dios nos perdone. He also won the Goya for the short film Madre.
